Overview & Reviews
This year the Grand Caravan receives a styling refresh and a new Stow 'n Go seating and storage system with fold-flat second- and third-row seats, as well as a hefty base price reduction.
- Excellent ride and handling characteristics, good low-end pull from 3.8-liter V6, roomy cabin, nifty fold-flat second- and third-row seats.

Great vehicle - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By Carla Garrison - June 14 - 10:03 amThis car has been wonderful this past year. The stow and go seating is almost miraculous. I dont know how we ever lived without it. It makes this van extemely versitile changing quickly and easily from a people carrier to a cargo transport. The navigation system and audio, video system have been entertaining to say the least. I think I always want to own one.

Its been great so far but..... - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By Pavloff - May 13 - 6:00 amWe already had to take it in the shop and the van only has 4500 miles. We heard a knocking sound & dropped the van off for its oil change. They said it had no oil & had to be towed to the Dodge service dept. Dodge service said the belt had to be replaced & the PCV valve. Im already wanting to trade it back in and go get a Toyota. I really like this van but if it goes back in the shop within the 1st yr or 2nd, we definitely will trade it in or sell it.

I love it, but... - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By Quinn - September 9 - 10:06 amThis is the first vehicle Ive purchased. I waited a long time for it! All was beautiful until the drivers side sliding door opened while I was driving at 40 mph! I think it may have been a factory defect. Then later the door would NOT open when I was parked! Smooth ride, Squeaky brakes, but a smooth ride! Extremely comfortable!

Great Family Ride - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By themightyq - August 24 - 4:53 pmBought this van eight months ago and have driven 8500 miles. Overall, this van is probably the best on the market. We love the stow and go seating and it has a great A/C system. Some people might not like sitting so high in the drivers seat, but my wife does. Gives you a good view of the road. MPG is approx. 18 city and 25 hwy

Great Buy/Great Value/Great Van!!! - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By Nathan & Lauren - May 16 - 9:20 pmMy husband and I love this van. We did a great deal of research when looking for a new car. We also liked the Honda Odyssey but found that the extras in the vehicle were NOT worth the added expense! The Dodge Grand Caravan is a spacious, economical van while continuing to be a thrill to drive. A huge step above the 2004 Grand Caravan!! We highly recommend this van to anyone!!!

Cant ask much more - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By Minnesota bound - February 11 - 8:03 amI bought a lease return with 22,000 miles on it. It drives and looks like a new vehicle. I had some concerns about gas mileage, but I get about 18 in town and almost 25 on the highway and thats with the 3.8L. It has plenty of power for almost every situation. The handling has been very good on both dry and wet roads. I havent driven it in the snow yet. The interior, gauges, and controls seem well thought out. The Stow-n-Go seating is miles above my old Aerostars with its 80 lb seats. This has the premium sound system and its as good as my home stereo. I researched this vehicle before buying it and it has had no problems. Im quite impressed so far.

My Grand Caravan - What fun! - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By Grand Caravan - August 21 - 7:26 amI love being able to get in, turn the key, & go! If I do run into any problems, a phone call to the dealer takes care of it. If I have a problem on tne road, a call for Chysler Roadside Assistance gets me help in a very short time. And repairs take very little time at all. It does make the drive into Seattle very easy, and one I would not even contemplate without my Grand Caravan.
